2/2 There is nothing like ‘a bad child’

2/2 “I didn’t think I’d ever fit in and become a valuable part of the society, but having a sense of belonging changed my life. A couple of months later I moved in with a foster family who cared about me and wanted the best for me. They helped me become the best person I can be. I attended Boystown High School where I graduated with an honours diploma. I also took part in many extra-curricular activities. The support system that included staff, therapists and various other professionals remained the same from the time I first arrived on campus up until today. My story is just one of many examples which prove that there is nothing like ‘a bad child.’ There are children with issues and special needs, and we have to do our best to care for them with unwavering support, consistency and kindness so they can show their true potential.”
